Registered Intermediary

Intermediaries are experts in communication who work with children and
adults who have a range of language needs. Intermediaries provide written
recommendations and support live communication so that clients can
understand and express themselves in the legal system.
I am an Approved Service Provider under HMCTS’ Appointed Intermediary
Services (HAIS) and provide services via the Ministry of Justice Witness
Intermediary Scheme (WIS).
I have over 10 years of experience as an Intermediary, undertaking work in
police and court settings. I have previously supported individuals who have
learning disabilities, mental health issues, neurodivergent conditions,
minimal language skills and those who use a foreign sign language.'

Psychological Wellbeing Services

Psychological Wellbeing Practitioners operate within the Improving Access to Psychological Therapies framework to provide assessments and therapy to patients. 
Since 2012, I have delivered patient led therapy to children and adults experiencing symptoms of anxiety and depression. I am a member of the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Psychotherapies (BABCP).  

Independent Mental Health Advocate (IMHA)

Independent Mental Health Advocates support patients with issues relating to their mental health care and treatment. Advocates help people understand their rights under the Mental Health Act.

I have worked with public and private mental health organisations (including SignHealth and the NHS) to support patients in understanding and making decisions about their care and treatment.

Deaf Relay
Interpreting

Deaf Relays facilitate clear and effective communication between Deaf people and sign language interpreters in a range of domains.
I have worked with sign language interpreters to support communication with Deaf people in medical, employment, training and immigration contexts.
Note - The Deaf relay role focuses on interpretation and does not include assessment or personal support to the client.
